"It's the most wonderful time of the year" and when the CHS classmates get
together at the holiday time it is indeed a very special time.
Susie Turner Crouch hosted the Chattanooga reunion committee at her
sparkling holiday home on Dec. 21. There were twinkling lights, a profusion
of ruby poinsettias and all the charming decorations that you would expect
of Susie's place.
Susie provided two fabulously delicious soups and the guests filled in the
rest of the menu to make a savory winter feast. Classmates were sparkling
too in their festive garb.
Classmates attending, ( I hope I don't leave anyone out!) were Linda McKinney, Carolyn
Darr, Sandra King, Linda McKinney, Gaynell Smith, Lloyd Stanley, Kent Smith,
Lew & Ann Waddy, Vicki D. White, Anne Johnson, and Susie.
The night was one of the most wonderful times of my year. ---Anne Johnson

The sentence should start, “Classmates attending:” Dates and spouses attended but I could not remember all their names. Maybe some one from the party will add the in. We love to have spouses and dates join in our committee work and parties. Several spouses have supported and partied with us and not their own class. We always say, “Come on, if you have the CHS spirit. You don’t need to actually be a graduate.” Eleanor Smith, Kent’s wife, said that she enjoys our group so much that she has not been inclined to keep up with her class.
I’m on my way out of town so I may not be able to keep up with comments.
