Subject: Final thoughts from the thick of it!

I probably should have taken a crash course in "5000 ways to say thank you" - I'm sure I have been way too repetitive and maybe a little boring at times but I've had the best time reading your precious, nice, sweet and complimentary notes along with your reservations. I have truly been amazed at the generosity and support of this class and I want to say one more time - THANK YOU!

I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll and getting reacquainted - just act like you know me!

Joan Varner Gay on her way to reunion

I had a great telephone conversation with Joan Varner Gay a few weeks back and she is bringing scrapbooks, school papers, banners and I don't know what all to the reunion. We will also display her "stuff" in the hospitality room. She brought it to the 40th and it was a big hit so don't forget to stop by and enjoy.

Reunion reservations rolling in!

Hey Folks,

Reservations are still coming in - got one from David Willbanks - glad he's coming. Also, Lloyd Stanley sent me a check from Robey Brown (he'd had it sitting on his desk for sometime!) Robey was very generous in his donation and we certainly do appreciate it. Thank you, Robey.

Hey Folks,

The reunion reservations are trickling in - got one from Jim Champion who states this is his first time back for a reunion - great!

I also got one from Dean Barger who sent a wonderful donation for the reunion - it will certainly go to good use and Dean's generosity is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Dean.

Kudos to Lloyd Stanley!

Happy New Year!

Lloyd Stanley has made this reunion committee very happy - not only does Lloyd contribute his time for committee meetings, makes his home available for reunion parties, he has now so generously contributed to our reunion fund! I want to say a personal thank you to Lloyd and speaking for the "working committee" a 'huge' thank you for the 'huge' donation.

Thank you, Tom Wilson!

Hi everyone,

Not only has Tom Wilson offered to help with the directory (he's an architect!) and our mailouts, he so generously sent a contribution to our reunion fund. We are so appreciative of his offer to help and his very generous donation.

Thank you,Tom.

Love from North Chattanooga

OMG - what a good meeting we had tonight - some new faces and occasional faces. Carol Cameron Ackerson and Margaret Llewellen Crosby were first timers and some returnees that we haven't seen in awhile were - Della Dowd, Mickey Cobble & Jim Miller.

Now a special thanks to Carol for a very, very generous donation to our reunion fund. Lloyd Stanley handed me another super generous donation from someone at our meeting who wanted to remain anonymous. I think I speak for everyone - both contributions are so much appreciated and needed.

Marsha Moore Cunningham checks in!

Hi everyone,

I received the most wonderful note from Marsha Moore Cunningham expressing her appreciation to the "working" committee and she also included a very, very generous contribution to our reunion fund.

Her wish is that a portion of it go to Sharon Barker who has incurred so many expenses with mailings. I couldn't agree more!

I will share her lovely note at our next meeting in October.

Thank you, John Hayes

Hi Everyone,

I came home yesterday from Cotton Ball practice - how many of you remember the Cotton Ball? It is still going strong just a lot fewer belles!

More important was the very, very generous check from John Hayes to help with financing our reunion.

John comes from Atlanta to a lot of our meetings and we appreciate it and we thank him.
