Good morning Dru,

I loved your comment about licking the mouse..............gave a big laugh on this cold snowy morning.

Stay safe and warm this weekend!

The gals all look great!!!  Wish I could be there.  Maybe in the Spring, if you all are still getting together, I can drive up for one of the lunches.  Would love to see everyone again.

Our group met today at Taco Mamacita's for lunch and we all had so much fun. Wish more could have been present. The next lunch will be on Thursday, February 25, place to be announced. Mark your calendars now.

We were surprised when Wanda Sullivan Lamb joined us. It was great to have her with us.

As usual, Dru, you are a jewel for doing this for all of us. I know you have all the names by now. If not, just let me know.

Hopefully, when the weather is better, some of you from Nashville can come down and join us.

Linda Chambers

For some reason my attachments are showing up HUGE but if you will just wiggle and lick your mouse they will scale down. Linda

Well, I can still wiggle but I draw the line at licking a mouse. Dru (Webmaster)

Hello from Joan Varner Gay

Dru:  A note of thanks to you for time and efforts to keep us informed by email....you do a great job!   When Cactus yells "email from Dru" it is a treat!  The "old" girls are looking  GOOD at Anne's 29th( and holding) birthday....We have  procrastinated and have not made our annual January-February trip to the Florida Keys yet...we"re still trying to get our act together....just as well, it's been cold down there!  We have another trip planned in May-June to the Great Lakes and Washington Island ...Good Health & memories to all!!  Joan

Joan:  Thanks for sharing "the good life" with all your travels to the North and South.  Send along some pictures for your less fortunate classmates!   Love,  Dru Smith Fuller

Fav Teach Fred Arnold gets together with former Dickinson students

On Monday, January 4, 2010, a group of CHS/Dickinson classmates met with our  former teacher, Fred Arnold.  Many of your may remember him as a well-know  puppeteer,  playwright and producer at the Oak Street Theatre.

Mr. Arnold was  one of our favorite teachers at Dickinson where he began his career as our art  and Latin teacher.  He wrote and produced plays written just for us at that  time.  He has entertained many young and old and is now retired but his puppets  live on.

Since today was Anne Johnson's birthday, Fred presented her with a birthday card that  he had crafted just for her.

Shown at lunch at the Olive Garden are David  Pearce/Arthur Wilbanks, Anne  Johnson, Betty Anderson Dunn, Linda Rogers Chambers, Fred Arnold, Rick Mitchell and Sandra Wooten Wright.

I just wanted to take this time to wish all of you a Happy New Year! 2009 was one of the best years I have ever had and all of you were the main reason. The Reunion brought together again old friends and established many new friendships. Although it is hard to imagine on this cold, windy morning, Spring will come again and the earth will blossom forth in all its beautiful splendor. Hopefully, we can all gather here again\
Love to you all,
