Marsha Moore Cunningham checks in!
Hi everyone,
I received the most wonderful note from Marsha Moore Cunningham expressing her appreciation to the "working" committee and she also included a very, very generous contribution to our reunion fund.
Her wish is that a portion of it go to Sharon Barker who has incurred so many expenses with mailings. I couldn't agree more!
I will share her lovely note at our next meeting in October.
Love from North Chattanooga,
Susie Turner Crouch

Hope this picture will do
Carolyn (Presswood) - hope this picture will do. Sorry to say that once again I won't be able to attend the next meeting. We will be leaving for Texas on September 24 to plan a birthday party for my great-aunt who will be 104 on September 29. We will not be back in town until October 3. We probably don't leave town more than 4 times a year and it seems that our dates always conflict with the reunion meetings. Hopefully next time will work. Keep up the good work - we all appreciate what you are doing. Linda (Chambers)

Our thoughts are with Alvin Fox, whose brother died unexpectedly on Friday, August 1. He was a professor emeritus at Stanford Medical School in Palo Alto, California.

Linda Rhoden McKinney checks in
Dear Dru,
I am still hanging in there with a full-time job at Unum Disability Ins. as a Clinical Consultant. I reversed careers and raised 4 daughters before I obtained my degree in nursing in 1987.
I worked as a floor nurse for many years with the last setting as a Rehab Registered Nurse (CRRN) at Siskin Hospital just behind our old "Alma Mater" before coming to Unum 8 years ago.
Jim and I have been married 48 years and God blessed us with 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren from age 20 to 3 years.
We are excited about the 50th reunion as Jim loves this class as much as I do. He was in the 1954 class and they continue to have reunions since their 50th.
We are planning a trip to Rome, Tuscany and Riviera in May (leaving Sun after weekend reunion) and I possibly will finally retire after that - who knows??? Hard to leave a good job working with lots of YOUNG folks.
Hope to see lots of people in the Hospitality Suite Room #152 at the CHOO CHOO and get acquainted again!! (see scheduled times)

Hi Everyone,
I came home yesterday from Cotton Ball practice - how many of you remember the Cotton Ball? It is still going strong just a lot fewer belles!
More important was the very, very generous check from John Hayes to help with financing our reunion.
John comes from Atlanta to a lot of our meetings and we appreciate it and we thank him.
Love from North Chattanooga,
Susie Turner Crouch
