Happy Birthday to our friend and classmate, Harold Newman on January 7, 2011! 
Dr. Harold E. Newman is President of Shorter University in Rome , Georgia.
He and his wife Brenda reside in Rome, GA, and have two daughters, Cindy and Kathy.
One of the significant accomplishments of his presidency is the
June 1, 2010, transition of Shorter College to university status.
