Frank Kinser 's Mother has died.



The mother of Frank (Porky) Kinser, CHS Class of 1958 has died. He is married to Becky Weaver Kinser, also of the Class of 1958.

Frankie Sue Riggs Kinser, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at her home.

She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Kinser; parents, Hugh and Anna Mae McKenzie Riggs of McMinn County and sister, Joyce Miller of Athens, Tn.

Mrs. Kinser was born in Athens, Tn., graduated from McMinn County High School and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Frank J. and Rebecca Kinser; granddaughter, Julia Kinser; grandson, Jay Kinser and wife, Deane Kinser; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Haley Kinser; sister, Joann Clift and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to special friend Sarah Burkhalter, and caregivers June, Carolyn, Arlene, Joann and Fannie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paul and Frankie Kinser Scholarship Fund of the UTC School of Engineering or The Building Fund of Brainerd United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, in the sanctuary of Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, with Reverend Brent Hall and Reverend Genevieve DeHoog officiating.

The Friendship Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Brainerd United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, November 21, at Heritage Funeral Home and again Tuesday, prior to the service from 1:30–2:30 p.m. in the McFerrin Chapel of Brainerd United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga.
