The following is from an article that appeared in Sunday's Times Free-Press announcing a scholarship has been established in honor of our very own Richard Buhrman at Duke University School of Law by the Duke University Estate Planning Council.

Duke scholarship honors area lawyer
Richard W. Buhrman, a Chattanooga attorney, has had a scholarship established in his honor at the Duke University School of Law by the Duke University Estate Planning Council. Buhrman, a graduate of the University of Chattanooga, has served as chairman of the council for the past fourteen years. He also has a master of law in taxation degree from GeorgeWashington University. His son, John R. Buhrman also practices with him. Richard is a member of our class of '59 and Dickinson Jr. High Class of '56.
