"I just received a telephone call from Mickie Wade Maddux. She was wanting to know about whether or not we were planning a reunion. Mickie said they have been in real estate for years in the Atlanta area but that she is now an artist involved in the fine arts activities in Roswell. She said that she just woke up one day and realized that she could paint. She is anxious to get in touch with Vicki and talk with her about art. She and Bob have two adult children--a son who is in San Francisco and is planning to be married in the fall, and a daughter who lives in the greater Atlanta area. She has a 10 year-old grandson (Jacob) who is the "apple of their eye." Us grandparents can't identify with that can we?
Several of us have asked about her mother. She said that her mother had been in a nursing home in Atlanta for about three years and that she passed away on December 4, 2007. She had made her home with Mickie and Bob for about ten years prior to entering the nursing home."
