Dru,
Here it is:

After graduation, I attended the University of Tennessee and received a
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1964.  I accepted a job
with IBM in Huntsville, AL and participated in the Apollo/Saturn moon effort.
As part of that work I transferred to Houston, TX and worked in the Mission
Control Center providing technical support to the NASA Mission Control team.

An opportunity to transfer to the commercial part of IBM's business was
taken in 1968 and I joined the Office Products Division in Austin, TX.
I spent the remainder of my career working for the IBM Development Lab in Austin
in a wide range of engineering and management assignments.  Some of the products I worked on include: the Magnetic Tape Selectric Composer, the Memory Typewriter, Office System 6, and the IBM Personal Computer.

The last third of my work was in software development and testing.  I worked on the DOS Operating System for the PC, the IBM Local Area Network Software, and the OS/2 Operating System for the PC.  I enjoyed my work with IBM but readily accepted an early retirement opportunity in December 1999.

I continued my interest in basketball and other sports for many years but eventually
concentrated on tennis, playing tournaments and local leagues even now.

I met Judy in December 1983 and we were married in January 1985.  She is a native Texan of German heritage.  We enjoy country dancing, gardening and visiting with our two granddaughters.  We are both active in church ministries.  I have a number of siblings and cousins in the Chattanooga area and return there each May for a family reunion.

Thanks to all those involved with hosting the reunion.  I'm looking forward to renewing friendships.

In the first picture we are dressed for the Texas Governor's Inauguration Ball in January 2007; unfortunately an ice storm prevented our participation.

The second picture was taken from a famous Texas landmark, Enchanted Rock, near Fredericksburg.
