Louella-
I got your address from George Derryberry who said we should send our story to you for the CHS blog. I will make it short and am enclosing a fairly recent photo of my wife and me. Jim Hilton
After leaving CHS in 59, I attended UT in Knoxville for four years. Had the pleasure of attending with many of our classmates which included George Derryberry, Lew Waddey, Nathan Newbold, Dixon Kirkland, Sam Millard , Robey Brown and numerous others. Next went to medical school in Memphis. During that time I married Fretta Frizzell who was Red Bank Class of 1963. After graduation in 1966, went to Knoxville for internship and residency. Had to interupt the training for a two year stint in the Air Force at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. After coming back and finishing training, we went to Oak Ridge where I began the practice of radiology. Practiced in the hospital from 1973 until 1994, when I left to take on the job of medical director of the Oak Ridge Breast Center where I am to this day.
Fretta and I have now been married 45 years. We have had two sons - the eldest is now deceased and the youngest is married and lives in Marietta. We have three wonderful grand children who we get to see fairly often. I must say it doesn't seem that it should be 50 years since we graduated but there it is! I am looking forward to seeing all of you in May. My congrats to all who have organized this reunion.
