Last week I went to Hilton Head for a few days and came home to a mailbox stuffed full of reservations! Let me tell you some folks who are coming: Heard from some Chattanooga folks, Mike McAfee, Bettye Kamin Bozza, our very own Marti Brown and Nancy Klein. Also heard from Alvin Fox, Linda Beavers Simcox, Richard Morris, Jackie Shields and Jim Schaeffer.
Rita Viness Nash will be unable to attend but sent "loving thoughts to everyone" along with a loving donation. How sweet is that? Thank you, Rita. Don Hamill and Helen Bellamy Gross, hometown folks, were also very generous and we're glad they are coming.
David Ackerson from Knoxville sent a wonderful donation as well as Gerry Bricks from Pennsylvania and Teraca Corn Sutphin from Alabama. Thank you. My good friends from Signal Mountain, Harriette Stewart Hereford, Barbara Dalton Warner and Lew Waddey sent in their reservations with more than generous donations. Yay!
I got the sweetest note from Dottie Jacobs, she is coming but without her husband Don. Dottie says Don had polished up his dancing shoes and was ready to dance again. Don will start radiation again on April 27. Don sends his love and we send it right back. I'll miss my dance with him too. Glad you are coming, Dottie, and thanks for your donation.
And, lastly, Anne Johnson and Sharon Barker (I knew they were coming!) sent in a very nice donation. Those two have worked so hard making this reunion a success and we appreciate them.
