Coming from Alabama
Marjorie Hine Fowler and her husband, Kip, will be coming from Huntsville. Marjorie sent the following message to Louella Cherry Spencer:
Kip and I met at the University of Fla way back in 59--have been married since Dec. 1963--I worked in Atlanta while he went to graduate school at Ga. Tech and then we moved to Huntsville, Al. We have two children a daughter named Lynley Allison, who lives in Ft. Worth Texas and has three children and a zillion animals, and a son, Jay (James Madison Fowler IV), who is here in Huntsville. Our oldest granddaughter was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma two weeks after her second birthday and we took it on as a family to try to raise money for research to find a cure for this deadly form of cancer---so far we have raised almost a million dollars with a lot of help from friends and family and the community, but we are hoping to reach a goal of 10 million, so we have a way to go, but it is for a good cause and one that is very dear to our hearts. Sydney ,our granddaughter, will be eight this summer and we feel so blessed to still have her in our lives........she only had a 10-15% chance of surviving for one year........
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and I am amazed at how much hard work you all have put in.
